Ganguly, being no stranger to county cricket, has represented Lancashire, Glamorgan and Northamptonshire at County Cricket but this if this deal strikes through it will the first time for a retired Indian skipper to be appointed at an overseas club. The southpaw has also played at the domestic T20 meet held in England and played for Glamorgan and Northamptonshire.
