Grab tickets fast' for West Indies cricket event

With just over four months until the popular luxury yacht charter destination that is the West Indies hosts the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 tournament, its director has revealed that preparations are on track.

Robert Bryan said that 25 per cent of the tickets for the event have already been sold and advised those wishing to attend to act fast as organisers are set to step up their marketing activities ahead of the competition.

"Tickets are now on sale in the international market and, while we are experiencing the wait-and-see attitude in the West Indies, the last thing we want is a situation where people who want to attend matches cannot get tickets," he explained.

Mr Bryan revealed that the committee has been inspecting the grounds set to host the 42 matches, making recommendations on what can be improved to help the event run as smoothly as possible.

Those planning to visit the tournament as part of a luxury yacht charter could do so aboard the Abele - a sleek red-hulled motor yacht that could make passengers the envy of other cricket fans.
