The Pakistan Cricket Board has been forced to reduce a match in its one-day series against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
This has been done to accommodate the two-day gaps between the games as requested by Kiwi players.
After being forced to play its home series at neutral venues because of the volatile security situation, Pakistan has also accommodated the request from the New Zealanders to have at least two days gap between matches.
As a result the series, which was originally scheduled to include four one-dayers and two Twenty20 matches, will now have three ODIs and two T20 games.
The PCB has also scheduled the series in November in order to allow the New Zealand players to take part in the Champions League in India from October 8 to 23.
New Zealand was due to tour Pakistan for a full Test and one-day series in October-November this year but the security situation in Pakistan forced them to pull out of the tour.
Pakistan also played their one-day series against Australia in Abu Dhabi and Dubai early this year because of the Australians refusing to tour Pakistan .
The tour itinerary: Nov 3: 1st ODI in Abu Dhabi Nov 6: 2nd ODI in Abu Dhabi Nov 9: 3rd ODI in Abu Dhabi Nov 12: T20 international in Dubai Nov 13: T20 international in Dubai.
